I have a Ph.D. in Political Science from York University in Toronto, Canada, focusing on gender, employment, and social policy. I have always been passionate about issues of gender, equity, and social justice and have spent my career researching, teaching, and organizing around these issues.
I have worked on projects with non-profits, government agencies, unions, labor organizations, and public institutions. Project topics have included local and global gender issues, political representation, gender and compensation for educators, alumni profiles, gender discrimination in the tech industry, and economic stability, job quality, and equity in the tech industry.
My years of academic and professional research experience have given me the ability to dive into any topic and know where to start and what questions to ask. I use a mixed-methods research approach to achieve the best outcomes for clients, and to make recommendations for impactful change.
After growing up in St. John’s, Newfoundland, and living in Montreal, Toronto, Stockholm, and Seattle, where I started my consulting business, I have recently moved to beautiful Squamish, BC. I look forward to continuing my consulting business from Canada, my home, and I remain dedicated to making a positive contribution to issues of social justice.
